Single Sign-On (SSO) with Microsoft Entra ID or Google Workspace

To further strengthen security and user management, we now offer the possibility to sign in using Single Sign-On (SSO) with Microsoft Entra ID or Google Workspace.

This functionality is available for larger organizations with a sufficient number of users and allows the authentication process to be fully centralized within your existing IT environment.

What are the benefits?

With SSO, users sign in using their existing company account. This offers several advantages:

  • Improved security, as users no longer need to manage a separate password.
  • Simplified and centralized account management.
  • Access rights can be managed through your existing Microsoft or Google environment.
  • Former employees automatically lose access once their company account is deactivated.
  • Eliminates the risks associated with weak or reused passwords.

How does it work?

Once SSO is activated, the traditional email-and-password login method is completely replaced for the configured company domains.

Users whose email address belongs to one of the configured domains will be required to sign in using Microsoft or Google. Signing in with a local password will no longer be possible for these users.

What information do we need?

Microsoft Entra ID

For a Microsoft integration, we require the following information:

  • Tenant ID
  • Application ID (Client ID)
  • Client Secret
  • The email domains for which SSO should be enforced (for example: company.com, subsidiary.com)

Google Workspace

For a Google integration, we require the necessary OAuth configuration details, along with the email domains for which SSO should be enforced. Your account manager will be happy to assist you with the setup.
